Who are we?
Moore and Dorsey Inc. is a diverse family farming operation founded in 1929. We grow a wide selection of high quality shade and flowering trees as well as turf grass and grain. We are located in the beautiful and fertile northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, only 66 miles west of Washington DC and 170 miles south west of Philadelphia PA. Our close proximity to Interstate 81 makes access to our farm easy and convenient.

About Us
Moore and Dorsey, Inc. was founded by E.Blackburn Moore and Ralph N. Dorsey. At the time, the business focused on the production, packing, and shipping of apples on a global scale. Moore and Dorsey has since adjusted, and the Dorsey Family is proud to continue our farming tradition via grain, wholesale trees, and sod. We offer high quality plant material to the Mid-Atlantic area and beyond. In an era when family farms are being lost to development, we are thankful for our customers support which allows us to preserve land and continue to do what we are passionate about.
